Applications
Industrial and commercial power, municipal energy systems, combined heat and power (CHP), and combined cooling, heat and power where the project includes the required heat-recovery equipment.
Working Principle
Match gas quality, pressure and conditioning to the selected engine.
The air–gas mixture is ignited in the cylinders to drive the engine.
The engine drives the alternator at the selected rated speed and frequency.
Controls monitor operation; project-specific CHP equipment can recover useful heat.
Features & Series
Proven engine layouts with service access and monitoring for distributed energy installations.
Higher power density with electrical outputs from 889 to 1487 kW in the supplied model table.
1500 rpm engines for larger power and CHP projects; J624GS reaches 4401 kW in the reference table.
Project configurations may use natural gas, biogas, landfill gas, associated gas or other qualified gases; the table below is specifically for natural gas.
