Applications
Applications include pharmaceuticals and food and ingredients. Confirm material properties and process conditions before selecting the equipment configuration.
Antibiotics, vitamins and other pharmaceutical products requiring controlled batch filtration and gentle cake handling.
Salt, monosodium glutamate, food additives, starch, sugar and formulated seasoning products.
Gypsum, calcium sulfate, copper sulfate, potassium chloride, borax, dyes, pigments and pesticide products.
Copper, zinc and aluminum-bearing materials and other mineral or metallurgical suspensions after process review.
Sludge, wastewater solids and related process suspensions in environmental and energy applications.
Working Principle
The process route is selected around the material and product targets.
Suspension is charged into the rotating basket. Centrifugal force drives the liquid phase through the filter cloth and basket perforations, while solids form a cake on the basket wall.
When required, wash liquid is applied to the retained cake and removed through the same filtration path.
The basket continues at the selected speed until the cake reaches the specified separation or residual-moisture target.
After the basket has stopped, the cover is opened and the dedicated lifting device is positioned over the filter bag.
The hydraulic cantilever crane and special lifting tool remove the complete filter bag and transfer it to the discharge station, minimizing manual handling and crystal breakage.
After discharge, the empty filter bag is reinstalled, the quick-release retaining plate is secured, and the cover is closed and interlocked for the next cycle.
Performance Highlights
Final performance remains dependent on feed properties and engineering confirmation.
The hydraulic cantilever crane lifts the complete filter bag with a dedicated tool, reducing manual effort and cycle time.
Whole-bag removal and off-machine discharge reduce direct scraping and help limit crystal breakage.
Variable-frequency speed control provides an adjustable separation factor, while hydraulic damping minimizes vibration.
The quick-release liquid-retaining plate provides convenient access for filter-cloth removal and replacement.
Nitrogen protection, vibration monitoring, cover-open protection, overload protection and electromechanical interlocks are available.
Cake-layer control, atomized washing, CIP, explosion-proof illumination and hydraulic or assisted cover opening can be specified by project.
System Configuration
Core equipment and auxiliary systems are selected around the process duty.
Cantilever crane with a purpose-designed lifting tool for complete filter-bag removal and transfer.
Variable-frequency drive provides smooth starting and adjustable centrifugal force; hydraulic dampers limit transmitted vibration.
A quick-release liquid-retaining plate simplifies access and filter-cloth replacement.
Optional cake-layer monitoring, atomized cake washing and CIP online cleaning can be integrated into the batch cycle.
Nitrogen blanketing and an explosion-proof sight-glass light are available for hazardous or oxygen-sensitive duties.
Vibration, cover-open and overload protection are combined with electromechanical interlocks for controlled operation.
Hydraulic cover opening or mechanically assisted cover opening can be selected to suit the installation.
