Applications
Applications include pharmaceuticals and food and ingredients. Confirm material properties and process conditions before selecting the equipment configuration.
Antibiotics, vitamins and related pharmaceutical products requiring enclosed batch filtration.
Salt, monosodium glutamate, food additives, starch, sugar and formulated seasoning products.
Gypsum, copper sulfate, potassium chloride, borax, dyes and pesticide products.
Copper, zinc and aluminum-bearing minerals and other metallurgical suspensions after process review.
Sludge, wastewater solids and related separation duties in environmental and energy applications.
Working Principle
The process route is selected around the material and product targets.
The suspension is introduced into the rotating basket under the selected operating speed and charge limit.
Centrifugal force drives the liquid phase through the filter cloth and basket perforations, while particulate or fibrous solids form a cake on the basket wall.
When product purification is required, wash liquid is applied to the retained cake and removed through the filtration path.
The basket continues at the specified speed until the cake reaches the required separation or residual-moisture target.
After the basket has stopped and the safety interlocks permit access, the cover is opened and the cake is removed manually from the top.
The process chamber and filter medium are cleaned as required, the cover is closed and secured, and the machine is prepared for the next batch.
Performance Highlights
Final performance remains dependent on feed properties and engineering confirmation.
A high separation factor provides effective filtration and dewatering across a wide operating range.
Manual top discharge avoids scraper contact and helps reduce crystal breakage.
The operating range is selected for the material and confirmed for the quoted configuration.
The fully enclosed structure and cleanable product-contact area help prevent contamination and support hygienic production requirements.
An optional online CIP system enables thorough internal cleaning between batches.
The lightweight flat-plate design occupies little floor space, has a low center of gravity and provides convenient maintenance, low vibration and smooth operation.
Variable-frequency control provides stepless speed adjustment, supported by multiple safety protection functions.
System Configuration
Core equipment and auxiliary systems are selected around the process duty.
A fully enclosed housing and cover help protect the product and operating area from contamination.
Basket perforation, filter cloth and retaining components are selected for the particle size, cake behavior and washing duty.
An optional online CIP system provides comprehensive internal washing coverage without dismantling the process chamber.
Stepless speed control allows the centrifugal force to be matched to filtration, washing and dewatering requirements.
The low-center-of-gravity flat-plate structure and damping system support smooth operation with low transmitted vibration.
Multiple interlocks and protective functions can include cover-open, vibration, overload and speed monitoring.
