Applications
Applications include pharmaceutical and fine chemicals and food and ingredients. Confirm material properties and process conditions before selecting the equipment configuration.
Vitamins, antibiotics, pharmaceutical intermediates, dyes, herbicides, insecticides and other crystalline products requiring hygienic handling.
Starch, sugar, salt, soda ash and other food or ingredient slurries requiring clean batch separation.
Gypsum, ammonium sulfate, sodium sulfate, ferric sulfate, copper sulfate, nickel sulfate, potassium chloride, borax and acid-leach gypsum.
Copper, zinc and aluminum products, metal refining residues, water-treatment sludge and municipal or industrial wastewater sludge, subject to material review.
Working Principle
The process route is selected around the material and product targets.
Feed the suspension into the basket at the selected operating speed while maintaining the permissible batch load.
The liquid phase passes through the filter cloth and exits through the outlet; solids remain inside the basket as a filter cake.
Where required, distribute wash liquid across the cake to displace mother liquor and remove soluble impurities.
Continue high-speed rotation until the cake reaches the specified residual-moisture target.
After safe deceleration and cover release, use the lifting arrangement to remove the filter bag and cake as one unit, reducing manual handling inside the process chamber.
Performance Highlights
Final performance remains dependent on feed properties and engineering confirmation.
The filter bag and retained cake are lifted out together, reducing in-chamber manual handling and shortening discharge operations.
Basket filtration and bag lifting help preserve crystal integrity by avoiding aggressive mechanical scraping.
Suitable for washing and solid-liquid separation of particulate suspensions and selected fibrous materials.
Polished contact surfaces, cleanable internal geometry and optional CIP support high-hygiene manufacturing.
The full-flip cover exposes the complete basket for inspection, cleaning and filter-cloth replacement.
The enclosed modular drive space helps prevent belt-wear dust and external matter from entering the process area.
VFD starting and stepless speed adjustment support smooth operation across charging, filtration, washing and dewatering stages.
Configurable inerting, seals, monitoring and interlocks support hazardous materials and controlled production areas.
System Configuration
Core equipment and auxiliary systems are selected around the process duty.
The operating range is selected for the material and confirmed for the quoted configuration.
Precisely finished stainless steel or selected corrosion-resistant alloys and coatings provide smooth, drainable, easy-to-clean contact surfaces without avoidable hygienic dead zones.
A modular enclosed drive space isolates belt-wear particles and external contaminants from the clean process area.
An optional clean-in-place system supports comprehensive internal washing and sanitization for GMP-oriented production.
Variable-frequency starting and stepless speed control are complemented by selectable vibration, cover-open, overload and electromechanical interlocks.
Optional nitrogen blanketing, liquid or gas seals and explosion-protected electrical systems support toxic, flammable or explosive duties after project-specific centrifuge assessment.
