Capacity depends on feed properties, formulation, die geometry and operating conditions. The motor-power sequence includes “73 kW” exactly as published in the supplied source image; this value should be reconfirmed before equipment selection. Final specifications are subject to material testing and engineering confirmation.
Applications
Applications include fertilizers and feed products and rubber and plastics additives. Confirm material properties and process conditions before selecting the equipment configuration.
Compatible fertilizer powders and feed formulations requiring wet extrusion granulation.
Rubber auxiliaries, plastics additives and comparable formulated powders.
Food additives and pharmaceutical materials subject to hygienic, material-compatibility and process confirmation.
Catalyst formulations and powdered activated carbon requiring shaped, mechanically strong granules.
Pesticides, dyes, pigments and other compatible chemical powders.
Suitable household and personal-care chemical formulations after extrusion trials.
Working Principle
The process route is selected around the material and product targets.
Dry ingredients are metered, weighed and mixed; where the referenced wet-granulation process is used, water may be added proportionally during ribbon mixing.
Prepared wet material, or an already-moist feed, is conveyed continuously to the screw extruder.
A single screw or two intermeshing screws move the material forward while applying compression and shear.
The compacted feed is forced through the selected front- or side-discharge die; changing the die changes the extrudate diameter.
The extrudate is formed or cut into the specified granule size for subsequent processing.
Depending on the project, granules proceed through drying, screening, cooling and packaging; off-specification particles may be recycled.
Performance Highlights
Final performance remains dependent on feed properties and engineering confirmation.
Screw extrusion provides consistent forming pressure and produces granules with good mechanical strength.
Interchangeable dies allow the finished diameter to be changed for different products.
Fixed-speed output, variable-frequency control, electromagnetic control or mechanical speed regulation can be selected.
Cycloidal-pinwheel or planetary gear reducers provide strong torque transmission for demanding feeds.
The compact arrangement simplifies operation and integration into a complete processing line.
Accessible construction and replaceable dies simplify routine cleaning, inspection and changeover.
The series handles a wide range of compatible powders and moist materials after process evaluation.
System Configuration
Core equipment and auxiliary systems are selected around the process duty.
The discharge geometry is selected according to material behavior, granule specification and line layout.
Die replacement changes granule diameter and supports different product specifications.
Fixed-speed, variable-frequency, electromagnetic or mechanical speed regulation can be supplied to suit the duty.
Cycloidal-pinwheel or planetary gearing provides the torque required for continuous extrusion.
In a complete line, two intermeshing screws convey, compress and shear the conditioned feed before downstream granulation.
A continuously rotating drum further develops granules from the prepared material where required by the process.
The distributor introduces batches at a controlled angle to obtain the specified loading pattern in downstream equipment.
Continuous belt drying removes moisture from granules and comparable products.
The rotating cooler transfers heat from the product to the cooling medium and lowers the granule temperature.
Finished granules are classified by size; qualified material proceeds to packaging and rejects can return for regranulation.
The final product can be automatically weighed and packed after cooling and classification.
