Working Principle
The process route is selected around the material and product targets.
Charge the suspension into the high-speed horizontal basket while the cake-layer controller regulates cake thickness and helps prevent overload or material carryover.
Liquid passes through the filter medium into the filtrate chamber and is withdrawn by the siphon or skimming device; solids remain in the basket as a filter cake.
Position the siphon intake to change the liquid-level differential between the basket and filtrate chamber, thereby matching filtration pressure and capacity to the product.
Apply the required wash cycle and continue rotation to achieve thorough displacement washing and the specified residual-moisture target.
The scraper removes the finished cake and the screw conveyor transfers the solids from the machine for the next production stage.
