Product Overview
This mortar mixing main-unit range provides two purpose-built configurations for building materials, specialty mortars, flooring compounds and wall-coating formulations: the high-speed ploughshare mixer and the twin-shaft paddle mixer.
The ploughshare configuration uses plough-shaped agitators and optional high-speed cutters for rapid circulation and dispersion. Wear-resistant internal components and a wide pneumatic discharge door support abrasive formulations, fast emptying and low residual hold-up.
The twin-shaft paddle configuration uses two equal-speed counter-rotating shafts with specially arranged paddles. Combined axial and radial movement promotes rapid cross-mixing, including formulations with significant differences in density, component ratio or friction coefficient.

Applications
Applications include building materials and specialty mortars. Confirm material properties and process conditions before selecting the equipment configuration.
Blending of mineral powders, binders, fillers, pigments and functional additives used in construction products.
Formulations requiring uniform distribution of components with different densities or addition ratios.
Dry blend preparation for compatible floor-coating and flooring-material systems.
Preparation of compatible wall-coating powders and related construction formulations.
Working Principle
Ploughshare and twin-shaft paddle mixing are alternative arrangements. Select the configuration for formulation, abrasiveness, agglomeration and discharge requirements.
Charge the formulation into the selected mixing chamber. Select either the ploughshare or twin-shaft paddle configuration described below.
Plough-shaped tools circulate the batch. Optional high-speed cutters disperse agglomerates; wear-resistant internals are selected for abrasive formulations.
Two shafts rotate at equal speed in opposite directions. Angled paddles produce axial and radial circulation for rapid cross-mixing.
Operate the selected configuration until the required uniformity is reached, then discharge through its specified outlet. A wide pneumatic door can be specified for rapid emptying and low residue.
Performance Highlights
Final performance remains dependent on feed properties and engineering confirmation.
The plough-shaped agitator produces strong material circulation for consistent mortar and powder blending.
The mixer is designed for efficient circulation while limiting unnecessary particle breakage.
Mixing elements, high-speed cutters and the chamber can be manufactured from wear-resistant materials to extend service life in abrasive duties.
A wide pneumatic bottom door shortens emptying time and helps reduce material remaining inside the chamber.
An automated cleaning arrangement can be incorporated where the production and hygiene requirements call for it.
Two synchronized shafts rotate in opposite directions to generate intensive, balanced batch movement.
Special paddle geometry drives material in both axial and radial directions, accelerating cross-mixing.
Multi-directional circulation enables the formulation to reach uniformity within a short cycle.
The design is suited to materials with substantial differences in density, component ratio or friction coefficient.
System Configuration
Select options for the material and process. Availability and final scope are confirmed in the equipment specification.
Wear-resistant mixing elements, choppers and vessel construction can be combined with a large pneumatic discharge door for dry mortar, flooring and wall-material formulations.
Two shafts rotate in opposite directions at equal speed. Paddle-driven axial and radial movement is selected for component density, proportion and friction characteristics.
These are alternative constructions, not combined standard equipment. Wet materials or liquid addition require separate checks of moisture, viscosity, cleaning and discharge requirements.
